Museum Without Walls is developing an interdisciplinary project that will draw together the history and cultural life of Seattle's University District in a variety of formats, including temporary exhibitions, walking tours, physical markers, community events, and oral histories. The project will celebrate many well-known sites and highlights of civic life in the UDistrict, but seeks also to discover more personal stories, shared by residents past and present, that reflect the many ways that neighbors have connected in the UDistrict, and what they’ve come to value in the community. We appreciate your interest in sharing your stories and images with us, and welcome your response. |
